Brain Files are your agent’s knowledge base. Add links to your business docs so MisterChatter can answer with accurate, on‑brand information.
1 Open Brain Files

Go to MC Intelligence → Brain Files → Add.
2 Prepare your Google Doc
#
Create or open a Google Doc with the information you want the agent to use. Good candidates include services, pricing, policies, FAQs, product details, and key processes.
Tip: Keep one main topic per document and use clear headings. It makes information easier for the agent to reference.
3 Set sharing correctly
#
In your Google Doc, click Share, set General access to Anyone with the link (recommended role Viewer), then Copy link.
If sharing is not set to Anyone with the link, MisterChatter cannot read the document.
4 Add the link in MisterChatter
#
Return to MisterChatter, paste the Google Doc link into Brain Files, then Save.
5 Manage your files
#
You can add multiple Brain Files for different topics. You can remove a file any time if it is outdated.
Tip: Use short, descriptive document names like Pricing – EU or Refund Policy – 2025.
What to include #
- Clear descriptions of products or services
- Prices, fees, and discounts that users will ask about
- Policies such as shipping, returns, and warranties
- Frequently asked questions with concise answers
- Contact or escalation instructions

Troubleshooting #
- Permission error – Check the Google Doc is set to Anyone with the link.
- Old information – Update the Google Doc and replace the link if you use a new file.
- Unreadable content – Prefer plain text and headings over images or complex tables.
